Ist Class!
Booklists will be given out on Monday.
Only 4 books can be purchased secondhand . These are the English Readers. A note was given today re. the book sale.
Class Lists and Teachers Names will be given out on Wednesday.
Children will move to Ist Class on Friday 25th but will line up as normal in the yard at 8.50.

The end is near!
The chicks are getting ready to fly. There are a few big chicks who look as big as the Mum and Dad now. Then there are two smaller ones and one tiny one.

We were learning about The African Safari. Elephants were often killed for their tusks as they are made from ivory. Eabha brought in a necklace to show us. It is made from ivory and it is 100 years old.

Art Exhibition
We all painted lovely pictures and they will be on display on TUESDAY June 8th from 1.45 to 3.15 and again 7pm to 8pm . The older classes 3rd up will be on display on the 9th. Pictures are @10 @18 for 2 @25 for 3 from one family. If you can't make the exhibition just send in the money in an envelope marked with child's name and class.
Senior Infants Sports will be on Thursday next 10th June.
They will take place on the school field from approx. 10.45 to 12 o'clock. Parents are very welcome.
The Sponsored Walk takes place on Friday.11th June and the children will be a numbered card in their name next week . Any donation would be very welcome but please return the card even if unfilled.

Eva, Will, Connor,Jake,Maeve and Michael all had a brother or sister making their communion this year.
Some of them came to our class and we got a few pictures but we missed Jake and Lily and the picture of Eva and Andrew was blurred!

Paper Adventure Bears.
Our paper teddies are going back to Isabella, Christopher and Kayla in Canada. We enjoyed having them . We will send them back with their journals and some pictures of us! Brigid will be home soon and we will be raffling her on the last day so someone in our class will get to keep her forever.
