Class News

School is closed Thursday and Friday this week for the Mid Term Break. 

• We will be starting Set F Books after the break and we will all be moving to new places as well.

• Maeve brought in a lovely Chinese dragon ornament that her Daddy got in China . She also brought in some Chinese clothes. 
• Daire showed us chopsticks .
• Danny came in from Mr. Mc Gann's class  to tell us all about the Chinese New Year. He could speak and write Chinese.

Good News

 

We raised nearly €5000 for Haiti . 

Thanks to everyone who made or bought  cakes and for the generous contributions.

Shamu

We are learning about killer whales. They are orca whales and they are mammals. Daire sent us some pictures of when he went to sea world and he saw Shamu.

We painted a giant Snail and the Whale picture and some of us wrote about whales. We are going to paint Orcas this week and display all our whale writing and pictures outside our classroom next week.
